Before Starting (Initial Setting)
1.
Turn on your TV after connecting the player.
(When the player is connected to TV for the first time,
player will turn on automatically and the Initial Settings
screen will be displayed.)
2.
Press the

buttons to select desired language, then
press the ENTER button.
3.
Press the ENTER button to select Start button.
4.
Press the
& •
buttons to select the desired TV Aspect
ratio, then press the ENTER button.
5.
Press the

buttons to the select the desired Network
Settings: Wired, Wireless or PSC (WPS), then press
the ENTER button.
The Network Test will start and Initial Settings will be
completed.
6.
Press the OK button.
The horne menu will be displayed.

NOTE
• When the player is connected to TV for the first time,
player will turn on automatically.
Do not confuse because this is not malfunction.
• The home menu will not be displayed if you do not
configure the initial settings.
• If you press the BLUE(D) button during the network
setup, you can access the home menu even if the
network setup is not completed yet.
Playing a Disc
1.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE (
CD )
button to open the disc
tray.
2.
Place a disc gently into the tray with the disc's label
facing up.
3.
Press the OPEN/CLOSE (
CD )
button to close the disc
tray.
4.
Press the PLAY
(G)
button.
Playback related buttons
PLAY (
G )
Starts playback.
Stops playback.
• If pressing the button once: The stop position
STOP (0) will be memorized.
• If pressing the button twice: The stop position
will be not memorized.
PAUSE (0) Pauses playback.
Software Upgrade Notification
When connected to the network, the player will notice you of
any new software with a popup message.
1.
Turn on the player.
2.
From the Software Upgrade menu, set Auto Upgrade
Notification to On.
If there is a new software version available, the player will
notice you with a popup message.

upgrade the firmware, select Yes.
It will turn off automatically before restarting. (Never turn
it on manually.)
4.
The update progress popup will appear. When the
update is completed, it will turn back off automatically.
5.
Press the POWER button to turn on the player.

NOTE
• Update will be completed when the player turns off
after restarting. Press the POWER button to turn on the
updated player for your use.
Never turn off or on the player manually during the
update process.
• Samsung Electronics shall take no legal responsibility
for player malfunction caused by unstable of internet
connection or consumer negligence during software
upgrade.
