Throttle and brake l nkage The throttle/brake servo controls both l nkages and serves two purposes: 1. The throttle l nkage controls the amount of a r that goes n to the eng ne and therefore controls eng ne rpm. 2. When the throttle l nkage stops at dle, the brake l nkage engages.
