The tip of the
pen does not
coincide with
the pen cursor.
Calibration
of the pen
position cannot
be performed
correctly.
Cases not involving a machine defect
Has calibration been performed?
Press the CALIBRATION button or perform calibration from
the menu.
Is driver software U-Pointer set to "Finger Touch
Mode"?
Set driver software U-Pointer to "Pen Mode" except when
using the optional part Finger Touch Unit (FT-01).
Is the projector tilting?
The projector does not operate properly when it is tilting
largely.
Install the projector horizontally and vertically correct before
performing calibration.
Actual resolution may be different due to output image
with a black frame depending on the type of laptop PC.
In this case, perform calibration from a PC, not from a
projector. Calibration may be necessary again when you
use different PC.
Is the projector correctly installed?
Check the installed position of the projector.
Is the computer image projected within the area of the
screen?
Install and use at a position where the screen size is
between 60"-100". Do not set the KEYSTONE and
PERFECT FIT functions to extreme settings.
Is a part of the image enlarged using the Magnify
function?
Press the MAGNIFY OFF button on the remote control to
restore the normal display.
Is ASPECT set to NATIVE and the display resolution of
the computer larger than 1280 x 800?
Set ASPECT to NORMAL, or set the display resolution of
the computer to lower than 1280 x 800.
Is ambient light falling on the screen?
Darken illumination or close the curtain so that the light
cannot fall on the screen as much as possible.
AUTO CALIBRATE may fail when the shadow of a
person is reflected on the screen.
Stay away from the screen when performing AUTO
CALIBRATE.
Perform MANUAL CALIBRATE when AUTO CALIBRATE
failed many times.
