- Page 2 ASSEMBLY 1. Raise hood. 2. Place glass door in open position. Lower hood to retain glass door in the open position. 3. Remove flue collar from combustion chamber. 4. Open ash compartment door and remove ash pan containing legs, holts, nuts, washers and service tool.
- Page 3 LIGHTING AND USE OF UNIT. (KAMINA, RUSTIC, KAMINETTE) 1. Open the flue damper at the back of the unit and also the side door. 2. Spread paper and/or wood shavings, placing some wood chips and a few small dry logs.
- Page 4 fire the flames can reach the top of the combustion chamber of the unit. On medium fire the flames will be half way up, and on low fire, be only a few inches long. 5. Once the unit is well alight it can be used as an open fire by fitting the glass door into the hood.
- Page 5 After refuelling, open the flue damper until the logs are well alight, this will eliminate most of the chimney condensation and distillation products. Then adjust the damper as required. Periodically check that the flue pipe is not blocked by falls of soot or debris. The vitreous enamel of the casing can be cleaned with a dry duster.
