What is actually happening when "Registering Home Gateway" is displayed. It seems like it is setting cookies in my browser as my computers are behind my personal router (so the Sasktel router should know know anything about them).

"Registering Home Gateway" for the SaskTel HomeNet Gateway likely refers to setting up and configuring the device for the first time. This includes connecting it to the internet, creating user credentials, configuring network settings (such as wireless encryption and network name), and possibly choosing a custom domain name for remote access. It allows users to control, secure, and manage their home network through the Gateway interface.
