Safety
Do not operate the mixer continuously for more than 6 minutes (with beaters) or 2
minutes (with dough hooks). After using for these lengths of time, allow to cool
down for 10 minutes before using again.
Operation
The dough hook with the groove should go into the correct hole on the mixer.
Refer to the information on page 4.
It is recommended to start mixing at a low speed, then change to a higher speed
as required.

Remove all packaging and retain for
future reference.
Ensure the appliance is used on a
firm, flat surface.
Do not use the appliance outdoors
or in a bathroom.
Do not place the appliance on a
highly polished wooden surface as
damage may occur to the surface.
Do not place the appliance on or
near a hot surface such as a hot
plate or radiant rings or near a
naked flame.
Mains lead
The mains lead should reach without
straining from the socket.
Do not let the mains lead hang over
the edge of a worktop where a child
could reach it.
Do not let the lead run across an
open space e.g. between a low
socket and table, a cooker or
toaster or other hot area which
might damage the cable.
The power cord cannot be replaced.

Personal safety
Avoid touching moving parts. Keep
hands, hair, clothing as well as
spatulas and other utensils away
from moving parts during operation,
to prevent personal injury and/or
damage to the appliance.
WARNING: To protect against
risk of electric shock NEVER
immerse the appliance body in
water or in any other liquid and
always ensure the electrical
connections are kept dry.
This appliance is not intended for use
by young children or infirm person
unless they have been adequately
supervised by a responsible person
to ensure that they can use the
appliance safely.
Children
Never allow a child to operate this
appliance. Teach children to be aware
of dangers in the kitchen, warn them
of the dangers of reaching up to
areas where they cannot see properly
or should not be reaching.
Young children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance
Other safety
considerations
Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner. Ring the
helpline number for advice on
examination and repair.
Do not use accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer
as there is the danger of fire, electric
shock or personal injury.
Unplug from the outlet when not in
use.
Product Specific Safety
WARNING: To protect against
fire, electric shock and personal
injury do not immerse cord, plug
or mixer in water or other liquid.
Unplug from outlet before cleaning
and attaching or detaching beaters
and dough hooks.
Do not let rotating attachments
touch the mains cable.
Do not clean the attachments under
running water while they are in
position.
Make sure the mixer is switched off
before connecting to or
disconnecting from the mains
supply.
