Note: You can set the handle height in 1 of 2
positions (Figure 5). Set the handle to a height that is
comfortable for you.

1. Higher handle position
Note: Torque all bolts to 120 in-lb (13.6 N-m).
3. Route the blade-brake cable down the inside of the
handle and attach the cable end (Figure 6).

4. Route the self-propel drive cable down the inside of the
handle, thread the cable through the opening on the
left hand side of the housing, and attach the cable end
(Figure 7) (Self-propel model only).

5. Ensure that the self-propel drive
is properly adjusted. Refer to
Adjusting the Self-propel Drive Cable (page 19).
6. Tie the cable to the handle (Figure 8) using the cable
tie from the loose parts bag.
7. Install the back cover with the 2 screws that you
removed in step 1.
