Charging the headset

Your CoolStream Bluetooth Stereo Headphones use a
rechargeable battery. You must charge the battery fully before
using the BTH-301 for the first time. Please make sure to turn
off the BTH-301 before charging by sliding the power button
until it shows red.
1. Plug the mini USB connector into the USB charging port on
the BTH-301. Plug the standard USB connector into your
computer or USB power adapter (not included).
2. The indicator light will be red while charging.
3. The usual charging time is between 2-3 hours.
4. The indicator light will turn blue when the battery is fully
charged.

Powering on/off

Turn the headphones on by sliding the Power Switch (9) until
a beep sounds and the indicator light flashes blue.
Turn the headphones off by sliding the Power Switch (9) until
a beep sounds and the indicator light flashes blue twice and
then will switch off.

Pairing your phone via Bluetooth

1. Ensure that the BTS-301 is on by sliding the power switch
to the on position showing green. Pairing is best when
your phone or mobile device is within a few feet from your
headphones.
2. Press and hold the Multi-function button (5) until the
indicator light remains a steady blue.
3. Ensure that your phone's Bluetooth function is turned on
(go to your settings), and then select the CoolStream
BTH-301 from your phone's Bluetooth devices.
4. Most smart phones and tablets will automatically pair with
the BTH-301. But if your device requires a pairing code,
enter four zeros (0000), and then press "yes" or "ok".
IMPORTANT:
• If pairing is successful, the indicator light will flash in blue
10 times rapidly before going to flashing every 3 seconds,
• If pairing is unsuccessful, the indicator light will remains on.
• If the pairing time takes more than 60 seconds, the indicator
light will go out and pairing will need to be done again.
Disconnecting the BTH-301 from your mobile
phone
To disconnect the BTH-301 from your phone, do one of the
following:
• Turn the BTH-301 off, by sliding the power switch until it
shows red.
• Under Bluetooth devices on your phone, disconnect the
BTH-301.
• Move the headphones 33ft or more away from your phone.
Reconnect the paired BTH-301 with the
mobile phone
To reconnect the paired BTH-301 with your phone, do one of
the following.
• Turn the BTH-301 on by sliding the power switch until it
shows green and set up the connection with the Bluetooth
list on your mobile phone.
• Press the Multi-Function button (5) once. (Your phone must
have already been paired with the BTH-301 for automatic
connection.)

Answering a call

When a ringtone sounds, press the Muliti-Function Button (5)
once to answer. Music will be suspended during your call.

Ending a call

Press and release the Muliti-Function Button (5) to end a call
or end the call from your phone. Music will resume when the
call has ended.
