    FPD Touch Monitors Installation Guide What Is AM-TFT LCD Technology? The MicroTouch flat-panel displays use active-matrix thin-film transistor (AM-TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) technology. With AM-TFT LCD technology, a flat-panel display shows a video image by using a matrix (rows by columns) of tiny liquid crystal cells. The cells create the pixels (picture elements) that make up the image.

After you connect the monitor, you need to install the video software driver.
