FPD Touch Monitors Installation Guide What Is AM-TFT LCD Technology? The MicroTouch flat-panel displays use active-matrix thin-film transistor (AM-TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) technology. With AM-TFT LCD technology, a flat-panel display shows a video image by using a matrix (rows by columns) of tiny liquid crystal cells.
