Slide Settings

This menu lets you choose whether or not sliding open the phone accepts
an incoming call and whether sliding the phone closed stops phone
operation.
Use the navigation keys to make selections and change settings. Press the

Airplane Mode

Airplane Mode makes your phone incapable of placing or receiving calls
while turned on. This lets you use the other functions of the phone, such as
the camera, when in an area that does not allow the use of cellular phones.

This menu allows you to set how your phone is recognized by a PC when a
USB connection is made. The options are

Ask on Connection: When the phone is connected to a PC, a selection
window appears that allows you to choose either PC Studio or Mass
Storage connection.

PC Studio: the phone is automatically recognized by Samsung PC
Studio, a Windows-based PC program that you can use to manage
personal data and multimedia files or access the Internet using the
phone as a modem.

Mass Storage: the PC recognizes a microSD card in your phone as a
storage drive, allowing you to transfer files to and from the card. The card
name is used as the drive name in the list of disk drives in My Computer
on the PC.
