- Page 3 Introduction: The Zone-Audio2 Module is the device handling the Music system in the Smart- BUS G4 home automation system. The Z-Audio2 comes with elegant design To sit under the TV in the Living room or Anywhere the eyes can see, like a normal Standalone music system.
- Page 4 1- Power and S-Bus: As in figure 1, the Z-Audio2 has a separate power supply, which means no need to use the power pair in the S-bus connection. It is clear in the picture also that only the Data pair (D+,D-) are connected in order to hook the module to the S-BUS network. 2- Speakers: Like shown in the figure 2 above, You have a stereo, left and right two Passive speakers out, using a proper speaker cable, connect to the speakers.
- Page 5 3- Sources: 1- SD Card: Normal size, preferred Kingston or Sandisc (Fig 4). 2- LAN shared storage: the Z-Audio has a built in NIC card which allow it to be connected to any computer network. With the regular computer network IP configuration it can easily play music from that storage. Refer to the Z-Audio and FTP programming manual.
