KEY FUNCTION INTRODUCTION Note: Some of the following buttons are on the remote control only, and some are on the unit only. And the others are on both of the unit and the remote control. Power switch. Slide the switch to ON position to turn on the OFF/ON portable unit and slide it to OFF position to switch off the player. - Page 9 KEY FUNCTION INTRODUCTION Press once to pause a playback, then press [ ] to continue the playback; Press it twice to stop a playback. STEP Press repeatedly to advance the video frame by frame. Press [ ] to resume the normal playback. (Note: Applies to DVD,VCD, MPEG4,etc) Press repeatedly for fast forward playback in different speed.

CHARGING CHARGING THE UNIT Portable player is powered by a lithium-polymer battery that features a high energy to weight ratio. It has no memory effect and thus it can be recharged at any time regardless of whether it is fully or partially discharged. -

CONNECTIONS Connecting to TV portable player has an AV OUT jack. You can connect it to a TV for viewing. Use an AV cable to connect the AV OUT jack to the video input terminal, L/R Yellow White channel audio input terminals of a TV. SYSTEM SETUP Menu Operation portable 1. Press [SETUP] on the remote control or on the unit to show the setup menu. 2. Press [LEFT]/[RIGHT] to select an item. The submenu of the selected item will be displayed. 3. Press [UP]/[DOWN] to select an item you desire to set in the submenu, then press ENTER]/[RIGHT]/[OK] to enter. -

SYSTEM SETUP 1.5 SCREEN SAVER ON: If the image remains motionless on the screen, for example the disc is paused, stopped etc, for several minutes, a screen saver will appear on the screen. You can press any key or button to wake it up. OFF: Disable the screen saver function. -

SYSTEM SETUP 4.2 PBC (Play Back Control) ON: Activate the PBC function. OFF: Disable the PBC function. NOTE: This function only works with those discs encoded with PBC function such as VCD 2.0 disc. DVD, VCD1.1, CD-DA and MP3 discs have no PBC menu. 4.3 AUDIO, SUBTITLE and DISC MENU Select a preferred audio language, subtitle language and disc menu language in these items. -
