(f) Assemble the Gear Box Ass'y [3] and Motor [33].
(See Fig. 10.)
Fit the projection on the Motor Spacer [24] into
the recess on the Rear Case [14] while ensuring
that the Shift Knob [38] is aligned with the positive
side of the Motor [33], and then turn the Motor
Spacer [24] clockwise (as viewed from the rear of
the Motor [33]) until it can turn no further. During
installation, confirm that the pinion is press-fit onto
the shaft of the Motor [33] and that Planet Gear
(A) Set [21] meshes properly.
4. Installation of the assembly unit in step 3 into Housing (A).(B) Set
(a) Install the assembly reassembled in step (3) into Housing (A).
Note that the projections on the Front Case [9] and Motor Spacer [24] are engaged in the recesses on
Housing (A), and the projection on Housing (A) is engaged in the groove on the Clutch Dial [4]. (See Fig.
11.)
