Installing HWN Phone Jacks

Connect the Phone Jack
1. Write down the Phone Jack serial number. You will need this
information in order to register the jack with the Controller. The
serial number is located on the jack label.
2. Plug the phone line from the standard telephone, FAX machine,
etc., into the Phone Jack.
3. Plug the Phone Jack into a standard 120v power outlet.
The HWN Phone Jack allows you to connect
standard telephones, modems, FAX machines,
and answering machines to your Home Wireless
Networks communications system.
Note: The network Controller must already be
installed and incoming phone lines connected to it
in order to add a Phone Jack to the network.

The following procedure describes the registration process using a Handset. For information on registering a Phone Jack from a network PC, see the Network Reference Manual that came with the Controller.
