    The Digital Satellite STU Equipment equipment from a power source. This section provides an overview of the FOXTEL Set Top Unit (STU) Equipment. It contains diagrams and tables of the STU and MAINS SUPPLY: 192-288 V (220/240 V) AC 50 Hz.

    GETTING STARTED A Channel number (initially 38) will be displayed on the STU front panel display. Press UHF on the RCU to remove the test signal. Setting-up the System Check that any noise from the STU does not interfere with signals received on the VCR.

    VCR and listen to CD quality stereo sound on a Hi-Fi. Connect the coaxial cable connector from the LNB on the Consult FOXTEL for assistance in setting up an audio/video satellite dish into the socket marked LNB IN on the STU. The configuration best suited to your requirements.

    STU, TV (SCART or RF Interfaces), Hi-Fi Using a SCART-to-SCART cable (not supplied), connect the TV SCART socket on the STU to the SCART socket on the TV. NOTE: It is recommended that you switch off the mains supply to the STU before connecting or Using a SCART to RCA connector (not supplied), connect the disconnecting the LNB connector.

    Follow Steps 5 and 6 if you are using SCART connectors.
