BLADE LEVEL The level is conveniently located near your thumb (if you are right-handed) so it can easily be adjusted while the clipper is in your hand. The level adds versatility to your clipper by allowing you gradually change the closeness of your cut without an attachment comb.

THINNING FUNCTION First, slide the Thinning plate up. While applying the blade point at right angles to the hair, run the trimmer slowly across the head as if combing the hair. After thinning, slide the thinning plate back. For thinning, confirm that the thinning plate is set to the right position. Incorrect setting may result in excessive cutting.
STEP 1 – NAPE OF THE NECK Attach comb attachment 3mm or 6mm. Hold the clipper cutting edge pointed up and begin the haircut, starting at the centre of the head at the base of the neck (fig.1). Hold the clipper comfortably in your hand and hold lightly against the head with the comb teeth pointing upward.

STEP 4 – SIDE OF THE HEAD Using comb attachment 9mm or 12mm, cut top of head from back to front against the direction in which the hair normally grows (fig.4). In same cases, this may require the reverse, or cutting from front to back. Comb attachment 3mm or 6mm are used to achieve a close crew cut or short cut.
SHORT TAPERED STYLES – “FLAT TOP” AND SHART CUTS Starting with the longest attachment comb (12mm), cut from the back of the neck to the crown. Hold the attachment comb flat against the head and slowly move the clipper through the hair, as shown (fig.8).
