The fuel pump contains an internal strainer that periodically needs to be cleaned (see Section 18, page 33). This internal strainer is mounted behind the pump cover. Before removing the pump cover make sure you have a new gasket on hand. Contact the Lanair Customer Service Department for the proper gasket for your model of pump, at 800-753-1601.
