SYMPTOM
25. During recording, sound
cannot be heard.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
25. •The optional headphones are
not connected to the
headphones connector.
26. •"DISPLAY" is set to "OFF" in
the Date/Time Menu.
27. •"ON SCREEN" is set to
"OFF" in the Date/Time
Menu.
28. •You have made the indica-
tors disappear.
29. •Certain FADE/WIPE, P.AE/
Effects, DIS and other
functions that cannot be
used together are selected at
the same time.
30. •The viewfinder is made with
high-precision technology.
However, black spots or
bright spots of light (red,
green or blue) may appear
constantly on the viewfinder.
These spots are not recorded
on the tape. This is not due
to any defect of the unit.
