    Windows XP & .NET Upgrading Windows 2000 to Windows XP or .NET WARNING In order to avoid a system failure, GAM cannot be installed. If GAM is present on your system from a previous installation, uninstall GAM components & before you begin the Windows XP or .NET upgrade.

If the current version of the Mylex driver you are about to install is too new to have been tested and approved by Microsoft, the driver will not have a digital signature and the Digital Signature Dialog Box shown in Figure 4-6 will appear.

The Windows 2000 CD-ROM comes with an embedded driver for the following controllers: eXtremeRAID 2000, eXtremeRAID 3000, AcceleRAID 160/170LP, AcceleRAID 170, or AcceleRAID 352.
