Iris Technology makes available a vehicle mounting plate for use with the Expanded-Capacity HMMWV Fleet or HMMWV (ECV) which have Air Conditioning installed (PN 287A125). This plate allows for direct bolt-on attachment without vehicle modification.

Many loads will perform better when connected to the QuietPower Inverter.

    Approved shipping methods are as follows:  Save the original packaging material. The inverter shall be shipped back to Iris Technology for repair and the preferred method of shipping is to use the same packaging material that was used when first shipped from the factory.

    This appendix explains important vehicle and battery systems information necessary to optimize the performance of the QP-1800 inverter system. The QuietPower 1800 is a 24 VDC (nominal) device. It will not operate from personal vehicles which have a 12 VDC (nominal) electrical system.

Table 11 compares the performance of these two batteries. As seen below, the Armasafe Plus exceeds all military specifications and offers significant performance benefits in CCA, capacity, reserve, shelf life, cycle life, and internal resistance.

Root cause investigation has revealed that in cases where the inverter malfunction is not the cause, vehicle condition and environmental factors can severely affect the function and performance of the inverter.
