CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable.
Do not open or change any parts by yourself. Please refer to a qualified electrical
service department or return to the supplier if servicing is necessary.
Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use
and before cleaning.
The removable inner ceramic dish is dishwasher safe or may be washed in
hot/cool soapy water depending on the temperature of the dish.
Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your
appliance as it can be damaging to the finish.
To remove water spots or stubborn spots/marks, wipe the surfaces with a cloth
slightly dampened in soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry a
clean, dry, soft cloth.
Wipe the stainless steel cooking body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaners.
As any fine ceramic, the stoneware bowl will not withstand sudden temperature
changes – i.e. from freezing cold to hot boiling or visa versa.
If the stoneware has been preheated or is hot, do not put cold foods into the
inner.
Do not preheat the slow cooker before using unless specified in the recipe. The
stoneware should be at room temperature before adding hot foods.
Preferably, directly after cooking while ceramic dish is still heated, rinse with HOT
water only. Alternatively allow to cool to room temperature and rinse with cool
water.
