    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Warning! If used correctly, this Auger is a powerful, fast, high performance tool. If used improperly or without due precautions it could become a dangerous tool. Always comply with the safety rules and regulations throughout this manual. It is important that you read, fully understand and observe the following safety precautions and warnings.
  • Page 11 (3) Never wear scarves, bracelets or anything else which could get caught in the machine or bit. Wear close-fitting safety clothing. (4) Wear protective non-slip safety shoes, gloves, glasses, ear protection and a safety helmet. (5) Do not allow people near the machine while in use. (6) Do not start working until you have a clear work area.
  • Page 12 (20) Store the power drill off the ground, in a vertical position and in a dry place. Make sure the fuel tank is empty. (21) Check the power drill each day to ensure that each component is functional. (22) While working and moving from one work area to another make sure the engine is on the idle position.

    ASSEMBLY 1.) Open the box Remove the machine from the box, check the machine for damage, and make sure all the components are complete. (Fig.1) Page 2 . 2.) Assemble the machine a.) Rotate the machine by 90 degrees like (Fig.2), the air filter cover would be on the top side, use the accessory box to put under the gear case like (Fig.3) Page 2.

    STARTING 1. Fuel Mixture Use a 2% or 4% (50:1 or 25:1) oil/gasoline mixture (Fig.10) (Please use fuel mixture of 25:1(gasoline:oil) 20 hours before the the machine runs.) Warning! 2-stroke engines have high specific horsepower and we recommend the use of regular or super unleaded gasoline, with or without lead and an octane rating of no less than 90.

    Note Do not use the choke (M , Fig.15. Fig.16) Page 5 when starting a hot engine. When the engine is idling, the bit should not turn. Warning! If the bit jams, stop the engine immediately. Note When pulling the pull start a) Do not let the starter grip snap back b) Do not pull the starter rope out all the way as it might break.
  • Page 17 ENGINE-Clean the cylinder fins with compressed air or a brush periodically. Overheating of engine may occur due to impurities in the cylinder. SPARK PLUG-Remove the spark plug cover, unscrew the spark plug. Clean the spark plug if carbon deposits are found. Polish the electrode with abrasive paper and adjust the electrode gap to 0.6-0.7mm (Fig.22) Page 6.
