    GETTING STARTED: AC operation When the radio is connected to AC power for the first time it will be in standby mode. The display backlight will be on for a few seconds, the display will first show the greetings and finally the clock. Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to adjust the brightness of the LCD light.

    ALARM SETUP: Setting the alarm time and wake-up mode Press the AL.SET/OFF (1 or 2) button once to enter into the alarm setup, to activate the alarm ON function by pressing the PRESET/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button and press the SELECT button to confirm. Press the PRESET/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button followed by pressing the SELECT button adjust and confirm the wake-up mode settings first set the BEEP tone, second set the iPod station, then the FM station preset and finally the DAB station preset.

    DAB SETUP: DAB auto scan The auto scan will either search for the UK or the entire DAB Band III channels dependent on the selection. After the scan has finished, the first alphanumerically found station will be automatically selected, to activate auto scan do the following: 1.
  • Page 9 DAB SETUP: DAB secondary services On some occasions you will see a “>” symbol directly after the name of the station, this indicates that there secondary services available to that station. The secondary services contain extra services that relate to the primary station E.g. a sports station may want to add extra commentaries.
  • Page 10 FM SETUP: FM Radio 1. To select FM press the FUNCTION button, the display “Switching to FM”. On the middle of the display will show the station in name or frequency. 2. To activate auto search press PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button until it starts to scan upwards. To auto scan downwards press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE?SCAN button.

Select an adaptor (this is not supplied) which matches your iPod model and install it into the docking tray, and insert your iPhone/iPod into the docking tray.
