OPERATION
AUTOMATIC ENGINE SHUTDOWN
The Remote Engine Starter will automatically shut down or will not start the vehicle' s engine under the
following conditions:

If the total run-time has exceeded 20 minutes.
NOTE: The vehicle will have to be manually restarted to
reset the run-time.
If any door is unlocked manually or via Smart Key.
If any door is opened.
If the shift lever is moved to any position other than "P. "
If the hood is opened.
If the vehicle needs service and the check engine light
stays on constantly.
(Without Push Start)
The key is inserted in the key cylinder.
ENGINE
START
STOP
(With Push Start)
If the push button is pressed.
If the brake pedal is depressed.
If the security alarm is triggered.
NOTE: The engine will continue to run if the panic alarm
is triggered.
