Start by downloading the free AwoX media app for your device: Apple iPhone, Download and install AwoX iPad, iPod touch Striim CONTROL™ software from the App Store. Google Android Download and install AwoX devices Striim CONTROL™ software from the Google Play Store. 2. On your Apple or Android device, make sure Wi‐Fi is turned on and use the device’s settings to connect to your home network. AwoX Striim CONTROL setup 1. Tap on the launcher icon to run AwoX Striim CONTROL. 2. The setup wizard starts the first time you launch the application. 3. Choose to install AwoX StriimLINK. 4. EN www.awoxstriim.com Connect AwoX StriimLINK to your stereo Depending on your stereo equipment, you may use the 3.5 mm jack‐to‐dual RCA cable (red/white stereo plugs), or an optical (SPDIF) cable. 1. Insert the 3.5 mm jack into the L/R plug on your StriimLINK module. 2. Plug the red/white RCA plugs into your stereo equipment. Use the dual RCA‐to‐jack adaptor if needed. 3. If you are using an optical cable, plug one end of the cable into the optical port on the StriimLINK module and the other end into your stereo. The source bar contains Playlists, Local, AwoX StriimLINK, and any other media sources you may have available on your network. Playing media using your StriimLINK 1. EN www.awoxstriim.com Using AwoX StriimSERVER With versions for Mac and Windows, AwoX Media Server makes your home audio library available as a source to Striim devices in your network. StriimSERVER works exclusively with AwoX Striim products. Follow these steps to get AwoX StriimSERVER up and running on your computer: 1. You will find the StriimSERVER setup application on the CD‐ROM provided with your product. You may also choose to download it from here: http://www.awox.com/mediaservers. 2. Navigate to CD‐ROM or download folder on your computer and double‐click on the StriimSERVER installer for Mac or Windows, depending on your operating system, and follow the instructions on your screen. 3. Launch StriimSERVER by clicking on the StriimSERVER icon installed on your computer’s desktop ( ). Allow access to your private networks if prompted by the application. 4. Click on Settings: ‐ Use the Server Name field to change the name of your server as it will be seen in your network. ‐ Select the Media Types that you would like to be able to share (make sure to select Music for use with StriimLINK). 7. Click on Apply when to save your changes. 8. Click on Library  Add to add media folders to your library. 9. Browse your hard drive to choose a folder, then click on Select Folder to include the folder in the library published by StriimSERVER. Click to add or remove media folders. 10. Play tab (tap to change view) Back Play/Pause Next Current song or radio station Repeat Shuffle Volume Control music playback using the icons at the bottom of the screen. EN www.awoxstriim.com Playlists and queues Creating a playlist You may create playlists of songs located on any available audio sources. A single playlist may contain songs from several different sources. Start by creating a new (empty) playlist 1. Tap on the Find Music tab 2. Tap on My playlists 3. EN www.awoxstriim.com Troubleshooting AwoX StriimLINK is not listed as an available Wi‐Fi device.  Make sure Ethernet cable is not plugged in.  Unplug the AC power plug from the unit and plug it back in to reactivate Wi‐Fi.  Press the reset button to erase any previous configuration settings. I can connect to StriimLINK but Internet Radio doesn’t list any available stations.  Check to make sure that your home Internet connection is working properly.  Try playing a song from a USB drive.
