NOTE It is recommended to allow a minimum of 4.5” of space from the rear of the cabinet for proper ventilation. If you are using only one XBU48 and want increased stability or a seismic installation, remove the mounting plates from the pallet (see Figure 1). - Page 10 INSTALLATION A seismic installation of the XBU48 requires that the mounting plates be bolted to the floor. Align the L-shaped mounting bracket with the two holes closest to the rear of the XBU48 and secure using two of the countersink screws from the start-up kit.
