This manual covers Model MB with the Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 18 HP gasoline engine. All shields and guards must be in place for the proper and safe operation of this machine.

Assembly Instructions SETUP INSTRUCTIONS Walker Mowers are shipped partially assembled to our distribution network, and are typically assembled by the selling dealer. For any additional assembly besides the following, contact your Walker dealer. Battery Service The battery is a completely sealed, non serviceable battery.
NOTE: A 2-1/2" diameter tilt-up roller wheel (P/N 9772) is required for decks installed on the Model MB tractor. Mount the two (2) tilt-up roller wheels on the brack- ets on the rear skirt of the deck housing using the P/N 8490 axle bolt, 3/8 in.

Assembly Instructions CHECK MOWER BLADE CONDITION, SHARP- NESS, AND SECURITY OF MOUNTING The blade mounting nut should be tightened to 60 ft- lb (81.3 N ⋅ m). If blade sharpening is required, refer to CHECKING/SERVICING for Sharpen Mower Blades in Maintenance Instructions. ADJUST MOWER CUTTING HEIGHT, IF RE- QUIRED Position the hitch pins in the four deck support pins.
