Layout of Poly-V-Belt Drive
Install the poly-V-belt by starting at
the belt tensioner (1) and proceed
with the other pulleys in numerical
order.
1 Automatic belt tensioner
2 Crankshaft
3 Air conditioning compressor
500 SL
4 Fan
5 Air pump
6 Alternator
7 Idler pulley
8 Power steering pump
9 Coolant pump
