Private Mode

Hide personal content from
being accessed by anyone else
using your device.
Private mode is only available for
certain applications.
Note: A secure screen lock (Pattern, PIN, Fingerprint,
or Password) is required to use Private Mode.

Fingerprint Scanner

Use fingerprint recognition as an
alternative to entering passwords
in certain apps.
1. From the Home screen, tap
 Settings > Device tab.
2. Configure options:
-
Fingerprint manager: Register up to three
fingerprints.

Change alternative password: Modify the
password you set to back up your fingerprints.

Screen lock: Select a screen lock.

Verify Samsung account: Choose to verify
your identity using your fingerprints when
logging in to your Samsung account.

2. Tap Private mode.
3. Follow the prompts to learn about and set up
