Getting Started

Adding an iPhone or iPod touch
Download the Sonos Controller App for iPhone to an iPhone or iPod touch that's connected to your wireless router (Sonos
Controller App use requires you have at least one Sonos player set up in your home). The Sonos Controller App is compatible
with iOS 6 and higher. Certain features may require later versions of iOS.
For information on when to use a wireless router with your Sonos system, please visit our website at
http://faq.sonos.com/apps.
Note: To use the Sonos Controller App for iPhone, your iPhone or iPod touch must be
connected to your wireless network and the Wi-Fi setting must be turned on. If you need to
make changes to your wireless connection, select Settings -> Wi-Fi from the Home screen
on your iPhone or iPod touch. For additional help with this step, refer to the manual that
accompanied your iPhone (http://support.apple.com/manuals).

Adding a household
The Sonos Controller App for iPhone gives you quick and easy access to all of your Sonos systems. Simply add a household to
your Sonos Controller App and it will automatically connect as you move from one place to another. So, enjoy your Sonos
system at work, and when you get home, open your Sonos Controller App for instant access to your music. The Sonos
Controller App for iPhone supports up to 100 households.

Note: You can remove a household from your controller by touching
the SONOS music menu, and then selecting Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Forget
Current Sonos System.
