    Functions Functions Docking and Charging Your iPod/iPhone Insert the cradle that fits your iPod/iPhone model, then plug in your iPod/ iPhone. The table below shows cradle markings (on the back of the cradle) and iPod/iPhone models. Note: When the iPod is connected, it charges automatically except when the docking system is in radio mode.
