Projector XP50 • The ON/OFF switch does not disconnect the device from the mains voltage. To completely disconnect the mains voltage, remove the power plug from the socket. • If you do not use the projector for a longer period of time, shut off the power source completely (for example, by switching off a power bar) or disconnect the power cable from the projector.

XP50 Projector Switching the remote control on and off Laser Ê Turn the remote control on by moving the sliding switch on its right side toward the front the remote control. When the LED lights up shortly, the remote control is operational.
Projector XP50 Setting up the projector We recommend that you place your projector on a surface with good anti-slip qualities. In view of the multitude of different finishes and varnishes used on furniture, it is possible that the rubber feet of the projector as well as the high temperatures at the bottom of the projector will mark the surface the projector stands on.
XP50 Projector Connecting the data cable Ê Use the data cable from the accessories that matches your computer's monitor port (VGA or DVI). Ê Connect the appropriate connector of the data cable to the active monitor port on the computer and secure the plug-in connection by tightening the safety screws.

XP50 Projector VESA-DDC-compatible DVI interface The projector is equipped with a VESA-DDC-compatible DVI interface. VESA-DDC (Video Electronics Standard Association, Display Data Channel) is used as the communications interface between the projector and the computer. If your computer is equipped with a VESA-DDC-compatible DVI or VGA interface, it can automatically read the data for ensuring optimum operation from your projector and select the appropriate settings.
