This unit is not designed to be built into a wood structure. The Eldorado Outdoor model number OLPLSFP04 is designed as an outdoor unit only.

If needed, use shims to level the fireplace during installation. The unit can be placed on a 4 in. concrete slab or a paver patio that has been installed following ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute) guidelines.
  • Page 6 Model OLPLSFP04 Outdoor Fireplace INSTALLATION / OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLATION GUIDELINES STEP 3: COLUMNS / LEGS ( L/R ) Apply construction adhesive around the access hole on top of the Hearth section where the column will sit. Place the column over the access hole with the open side facing inward, being sure to line up the bolt holes.

Insert panel through fireplace opening with scratch coat facing out.

This flue section will rest on top of the Rear Refractory Panel and the Side Firebox inserts.

Lift the Chimney Extension into place and line up bolt holes.

    Model OLPLSFP04 Outdoor Fireplace INSTALLATION / OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS DISPOSAL OF ASHES • Keep the base of the fireplace clean of excess ash accumulation. This will prevent grate “burn-out. ” • Keep the area directly underneath the burning logs free of ash. Make sure ash does not build up to a point where it hinders the air flow.
