To Switch The Power On And Off

1. Press to turn the translator ON or OFF.
2. The unit will automatically turn off if it is idle for 5 minutes.
To Turn The Backlight On And Off
1. Move the switch to position to turn the Green Backlit LCD on.
2. Move the switch to position to turn the Green Backlit LCD off.
To Adjust The LCD Contrast
Press the MENU key until the screen shows Setup:, then press ▼ until you see

Easy Target Language Switching
Press the CHANGE LANGUAGE button to scroll through the optional languages until
you have selected the target language of your choice.

To Operate Translation

1. Press one of the eight topic buttons — General, Emergency, Entertainment,
Sightseeing, Direction, Restaurant, Transport, or Hotel, Press the topic button
until a desired sub-topic appears on screen, then press ENTER to continue.

3. Press ENTER to view the translated sentence.
4. You can press TRANSLATE to hear the sentence in the Target language or press
HOME to hear the sentence in your own language.
To Adjust Voice Volume Level
Slide the VOLUME switch to ( ) for Low, ( ) for Medium or (
To Save Frequently Used Sentences
When the screen shows the desired sentence, press SAVE once. You will see
"SAVED OK!" or "SAVED BEFORE!" if you have already saved the sentence.
To Recall The Stored Sentences
Press FAVORITES, then ▼ or ▲ to search stored sentences. Pressing
will display the sentence in the target language and pressing TRANSLATE will speak
the sentence in the target language.
To Delete Stored Sentences
When the stored sentence is shown, press CLEAR once to delete the stored sentence.
