PINCUSHION BALANCE curves
the vertical sides of the screen
image
[<] curves vertical sides to the
left
[>] curves the vertical sides to
the right
PARALLELOGRAM slants
vertical sides of the screen
image to the left or right.
[<] slants vertical sides to the
left
[>] slants vertical sides to the
right
MOIRE REDUCTION reduces
interference patterns that appear
as ripples, waves, or unwanted
background color textures. Select
ON to adjust moire patterns.
Then, select HORIZONTAL or
VERTICAL and adjust.
[<] or [>] minimizes the
interference patterns.

COLOR CONTROL
from Optiquest
preset color temperatures:
9300K and 6550K. The factory
setting for this monitor is 9300
the color temperature most
frequently used in offices with
fluorescent lights.
The USER option allows you to
adjust the intensities of red,
green, and blue.
The CURVE option adjusts the
color temperature between
9300K and 6550K.
DEGAUSS removes the build-up
of magnetic fields that can affect
color purity and convergence.
Note: The monitor automatically
degausses when you turn it on.
Wait at least 20 minutes before
selecting DEGAUSS from the
menu to prevent possible
damage.
Optiquest Q55
®
provides two
0
K,
OSD (On Screen Display)
CONTROL allows you to move
the menu and control screens
where you want.
HORI (horizontal)
[<] moves the OSD menu to the
left
[>] moves the OSD menu to the
right
VERT (vertical)
[<] moves the OSD menu down
[>] moves the OSD menu up
RECALL returns adjustments
back to factory settings only if the
monitor is operating in a factory
preset mode. See the
specifications section for factory
presets. YES returns settings
back to factory default
Exception: This control does not
affect changes made with the
User color control.
NO returns to previous screen.
LANGUAGE allows you to choose
from among five languages for
the menu and control screens:
English, German, French,
Spanish, and Italian.
INFORMATION on the Optiquest
®
ViewMeter
displays the following
information:
MODE INFO (MODE
INFORMATION) displays the
horizontal and vertical frequency
coming from your computer's
graphics card.
From the MODE INFO screen,
you can toggle between a list of
FACTORY PRESETS or a list of
USER's modes by pressing the
[<] or the [>] button. These lists
are for viewing only.
