ELECTING TAPE POSITION DISPLAY TYPE

If the C C O O U U N N T T E E R R button is pressed during playback and recording
the current tape position will be briefly displayed on the screen.
There are three different types of display available.

Start playback (Play button G) or recording
(Record button n)
By pressing the button C C O O U U N N T T E E R R the

current tape position will be displayed on the
screen. Each further press of the button
C C O O U U N N T T E E R R activates the next type of display

“COUNTER” :
“TIME LEFT” : The display shows the remaining
“TIME USED” : The actual tape position (from the

reasons.

4 4 This may happen, for example, when you insert an
incompletely-rewound cassette into the video
recorder and rewind it to the start of the tape.
Since the display is automatically reset to
“00:00:00” when you insert a cassette, the
actual start of the cassette for the set is less than
zero - thus in the negative range.The tape position
is displayed with a minus sign “-”.

4 4 The set needs a little time to calculate the remaining
playing time. After a few seconds, the display should
change from --:--:-- to the corresponding value
