Content Theft-Deterrent System

(if equipped)
Arm the System
• Lock the doors using the power door
lock switch or the Keyless Entry
System transmitter. The alarm is acti-
vated when the symbol shown above
illuminates in the instrument panel
(approximately 30 seconds).
Since your vehicle is equipped with a
Driver Information Center, you can
program the alarm to the following:
• Both Horn/Headlamps
• Horn only
• Lamps only
• Off
Note: Your vehicle's factory default set-
ting is Horn and Lamps. See the
Personalizing Your Vehicle section of
this booklet for more information.

Four-Wheel Drive and
Suspension System Controls
Transfer Case
Buttons
Your vehicle's
transfer case
buttons (shown
here) allow you
to shift into and
out of the vari-
ous four-
wheel-drive
modes.
Locking Rear Axle
The locking rear axle can give you addi-
tional rear wheel traction when driving in
off-road conditions such as mud, snow,
sand, steep
hills and
uneven terrain.
This feature
can only be
engaged when
the transfer
case is in the
4LO Locked
mode. It is rec-
ommended the
axle be locked
when the vehicle is stopped. Please
note that the locker will automatically
deactivate above 20 mph.
