RePlAcINg BATTeRIeS

1. Open the battery compartment on the front of the of the sensor.
2. Remove any old batteries.
3. Place four fresh alkaline LR44 batteries into the sensor. The correct orientation is
shown on the base of the battery compartment. Use only alkaline batteries. Do not use

rechargeable batteries.

To test the current state of your batteries, press the TEST button, located in the battery
compartment. If the Battery Indicator LED will lights up then the batteries have enough
power to operate the alarm. If it does not light up or is dim, then you should replace the
batteries as soon as possible.
