To change blades on a Poulan Pro PO17542LT:
1. Remove the mower deck from the tractor (see “TO REMOVE MOWER” in the manual).
2. Remove the mower blade drive belt by working it off both mandrel and idler pulleys.
3. Pull the belt away from the mower.
4. Remove the blade from the mandrel by loosening the bolt holding it.
5. Sharpen or replace the blade as needed. Ensure the blade is balanced before reinstalling.
6. Reinstall the blade and tighten the bolt securely.
