Whether you live in a climate that is humid, like Florida, or desert-dry, like Arizona, the air near Friji Fan’s ultrafine mist is super cooled because of the effect of the tiny water droplets. Even in humid climates, Friji Fan’s evaporative cooling works—just like a mist-shrouded waterfall cools in high-humidity Hawaii.

Most humid climates do not exceed a humidity of 50 – 60% at the hottest time of day. In these humid climates, Friji Fan is perfect for cooling areas that do not need continuous cooling, for example rooms that heat up in the late afternoon sun, like the kitchen, family room, or patio.

For easy refilling, take the entire appliance to a sink area. Be aware that there is water in the sump, so do not tilt Friji Fan or the water in the sump will spill over. When you remove the water reservoir, the area that is sitting in the sump will be wet.
This will deter moisture build up on surfaces. The air stream Friji Fan emits is infused with an ultrafine mist. Before the mist disperses into the air it can get surfaces directly in front of the fan wet, including the floor or any surface the appliance is sitting on, and furnishings directly in front of the air stream.
Moisture is collecting on surfaces. See the instructions in For Best Results, on page 14 of this manual. My Friji Fan won’t turn on. Be sure there is water in the reservoir. Friji Fan will not operate without water in the reservoir. If it is empty, unplug Friji Fan, and then follow the instructions for filling the water reservoir, on page 10 of this manual.
Cleaning Your Friji Fan is easy to clean. Please follow these instructions and cautions. Caution: Before plugging in or unplugging Friji Fan, be sure hands and feet are dry and you are standing on dry ground. Always unplug Friji Fan before cleaning.
Nozzles: Replace the nozzles when they become clogged. Fuse: The fuse in your Friji Fan can be easily replaced. If your fan ceases to oper- ate, we can help you determine if the fuse could be the problem. We will be happy to explain or walk you through the procedure of replacing it.
