    T-ROBOT will generate a forward moment so that the moment leading to forward overturn of person and car can be balanced on one hand and the speed for moving T-ROBOT forwards can be produced on the other hand.

    3.3. Function of Auxiliary brake button The auxiliary brake button allows you to realize deceleration or auxiliary brake during normal running of T-ROBOT. Note: Be cautious about using the auxiliary brake button under a low speed.

    Before startup, please turn the knob switches on both sides to the neutral position. The left and right knob switches can’t be turned over 360°. Don’t operate it roughly. 3.6. Shutdown button The shutdown button and wireless shutdown button are mainly used to shut down T-ROBOT for energy saving after riding.

    2 seconds or wireless shutdown button so that the vehicle shuts down. 2) When T-ROBOT is running at a speed higher than 3 km/h, both the shutdown button and the auxiliary brake button should be pressed simultaneously for final shutdown.

    The width lamps are mostly used for the indication in the relatively dark ambient light. The brake lamp is mostly used for the indication of braking. 1) When the illuminating lamp of T-ROBOT is turned on, the brake lamp will automatically flash. 2) When T-ROBOT brakes, the brake lamp will be automatically lit.

    3.17. Battery T-ROBOT adopts two high-energy-density and durable Li-Ion batteries. Please refer to the battery instructions for more information. 4. Wireless key The wireless key is mostly used for wireless startup safety certification or wireless shutdown. To improve the safety, the shutdown button on the wireless key only functions in the system setup mode.

    5.1. Installation of battery T-ROBOT adopts two durable Li-Ion batteries. The running distance before recharging reaches up to 30 km (it will be different depending on land form, riding style and load). In addition, the batteries require a low maintenance cost and provide a long service life.

    After installation of triangle, check if there is any shaking of the triangle and ensure it is installed in position. 5.3. Dismounting of triangle Under the shutdown state, park the T-ROBOT steadily on a flat ground; reach the central part of rear bumper by hand and pull the quick-dismantling spring.
  • Page 17 Fig. 6 Dismounting of triangle Note: The spring at the back of quick-dismantling mechanism must be pulled to the end. The triangle must be slid backwards along the base surface. The triangle cannot be shaken after it is slid out so as to avoid damage to the plastic interfaces on the central part at the lower end and center of the base of triangle.

    6.7. Safety warning 6.7.1. Speed limit 1. T-ROBOT should be running at a maximum speed of 20 Km/h. T-ROBOT will automatically raise its head and give a warning in case of speeding. 2. In order to avoid side rollover, it is not suggested to turn rapidly at a high speed.

    Under the above conditions, get off and shut down the vehicle and then push or pull T-ROBOT to a safe area for re-start.
  • Page 21 The trainer shall stand right in front of the vehicle and hold the left and right handles with both hands to maintain stability of T-ROBOT. The rider shall get on the vehicle from its rear side with no excessive action to prevent fore-and-aft sliding of wheels.

    In this way, the vehicle will move forwards; contrarily it will move backwards, as shown in Fig. 14. Fig. 14 Move forwards/backwards 2. Grip the handle by both hands. Turn it left and T-ROBOT will turn left. Turn it right and T-ROBOT will turn right, as shown in Fig. 15.
  • Page 23 For a steering, always turn the direction after slowing down. During turning, the body’s gravity center should lean slightly according to the turning direction so as to keep T-ROBOT stable. Speeding or prolonged reversing is strictly forbidden. Failing to follow this could cause serious casualty accidents.

    Open the charging port of T-ROBOT. Check that the charging port and charger plug of T-ROBOT and the AC power outlet are in a clean and dry condition. Plug the charger plug into the AC power outlet which has been correctly connected.

    7.3.6. Battery power display The power status of T-ROBOT is displayed with two bars on both sides, as shown in Fig. 16. You can estimate the remaining running distance and charge in time according to the power display.

    For your safe riding, T-ROBOT can operate in a low battery voltage mode, as shown in Fig. 17. Once an animation of low battery voltage mode appears, you must get off the vehicle and push or pull T-ROBOT to a safe area. Complete re-charging as per the procedure in this manual for the next riding.

    Fig. 18 Handling T-ROBOT 8.2. Pushing/pulling T-ROBOT When pushing T-ROBOT, the person should stand behind the vehicle with one hand holding the handle and another pressing down the seat. Thus the head of T-ROBOT will be slightly lifted. Slowly move T-ROBOT forward.

    8.5. Storage and transportation of T-ROBOT 1. T-ROBOT should be stored in a dry, damp proof, anticorrosive, smear-free, high-temperature resistance and ventilating condition. It should be covered with a cloth covering when it is not used to protect the overall appearance.

  • Page 30: Safety Precautions

    Avoid running on an obstructed, bumpy, sludgy, slippery, soft or stony road surface, steep gradient or a stairway to prevent risks. You can get off and shut down the vehicle and then push or pull T-ROBOT to a safe area for re-start.
  • Page 31 22. Avoid distraction. Don’t talk to the phone or listen to music during riding. Please concentrate your attention. 23. During the riding of T-ROBOT, don’t reverse rapidly or turn backwards. 24. Never restart if it indicates the low battery voltage mode. You must get off to push or pull T-ROBOT to a safe area.
  • Page 32 46. Don’t ride T-ROBOT amid dangerous gases so as to avoid fire or other problems. 47. T-ROBOT should avoid being exposed to sunlight for prolonged time. Store it in a cool place. The direct sunlight can accelerate degradation of the paint, plastics, rubber parts and electronic components, reducing their service life and reliability.

Never assemble/disassemble it on your own. 10.2.
