To bypass the speakers on a Panasonic TH-37PX50U plasma TV and connect external audio, follow these steps:
1. Check the Audio Output Ports – Locate the audio output connectors on the TV, such as analog audio out (RCA) or digital audio out. 2. Use External Audio Equipment – Connect an external speaker system, soundbar, or AV receiver using the appropriate cables (RCA or optical). 3. Adjust Audio Settings – In the TV’s audio menu, set the audio output to "External" or "Audio Out" if available. 4. Use Analog Audio if Digital Has Issues – If there are problems with digital audio output, switch to analog audio. 5. Set HDMI Audio to Linear PCM – If using HDMI audio, change the HDMI audio setting to Linear PCM for compatibility with external devices.
These steps will allow you to use external speakers instead of the built-in TV speakers.
