TROUBLE SHOOTING
SYMPTOM
NOISE IN AUDIO SIGNAL (Whine)
CHECK POINT
If the noise is a whine whose pitch follows the engine speed, confirm that the
Amplifier, Amplifier and any other signal sources (head unit, etc.) are properly
grounded.
CURE
Inspect that Ground impedance are 0 ohms.
(To verify proper Ground impedance, use an OHM
meter to measure all equipment grounds.)
CHECK
POINT
Check the routing of the speaker and RCA cables to make sure they not adjacent
to powers wires or interconnect lights and other accessories.
CURE
Re-Route RCA cables and Wires
Note: If the above steps fail to improve or clear noise interference, the system should be checked
by a professional mobile audio installer.
