If a NorthStar 6500 DPG generator outlet is not supplying power to one side of the transfer box, the troubleshooting steps are:
1. Disconnect the load to check for a defective connected device. 2. Check and replace the receptacle if it is defective. 3. Bring the generator to a qualified technician to inspect and repair: - Broken or loose wire - Defective stator - Defective rotor - Defective capacitor
Also, check if the circuit breaker has tripped and reset it if needed.

The 240 volt outlet on the NorthStar 6500 DPG only has one leg that provides power because it is likely configured to supply only 120 volts from one hot leg, rather than a full 240-volt split-phase. This setup may be due to internal wiring limitations or design intended for specific equipment.
