OPERATING THE SYSTEM

1. Turn the receiver POWER switch On.
2. Turn the microphone(s) on by rotating the power knob to On. The red LED light will glow,
then go out. This is normal.
3. Talk or sing into the microphone(s) and adjust the volumes until you reach the desired
output level. Adjust echo control accordingly.
4. Tips for achieving optimum performance
- It's easiest to adjust volumes with two people. To avoid feedback, have one person stand
away from receiver and speakers while second person adjusts volumes and echo.
- Place the receiver at least 3 feet above the ground and away from concrete walls or metal
surfaces to prevent frequency reflections or interference. The microphone(s) should also be
at least 3 feet away from the receiver antennas.
- If using multiple wireless systems, maintain a distance of at least 10 feet from each other.
- Maintain a line-of-sight between the microphone and receiver antennas.
- Avoid placing the receiver near computers or radio frequency generating equipment.
- Extend the telescopic antennas to full length.
- Position the microphone close to your mouth and move accordingly for achieving desired
sound results.
- Move the microphone closer to your mouth for extra bass response.
- Use only one microphone per person.
- Keep microphone(s) away from sound-reflecting surfaces.
- Add a windscreen when using the microphone outdoors or for close-up speech.
Windscreens are also spit guards.
- Avoid excessive handling to minimize mechanical noise.
- Exercise patience when setting controls. They are delicate and will have to be adjusted for
different music or singer voice types.
