Using Menus

Configure a variety of camera functions through other menus as follows.
Menu items are grouped by purpose on tabs, such as shooting [4],
playback [1], and so on. Note that available menu items vary depending
on the selected shooting or playback mode

Access the menu.
z z Press the <n> button.

Choose a tab.
z z Move the zoom lever to choose a tab.
z z After you have pressed the <o><p>
buttons to choose a tab initially, you can
switch between tabs by pressing the
<q><r> buttons.
(= 108 – 110).

Choose a menu item.
z z Press the <o><p> buttons to choose a
menu item.
z z For menu items with options not shown,
first press the <m> or <r> button to
switch screens, and then press the
<o><p> buttons to select the menu
item.
z z
To return to the previous screen, press
the <n> button.

Choose an option.
z z Press the <q><r> buttons to choose an
option.

Finish the setup process.
z z Press the <n> button to return to the
screen displayed before you pressed the
<n> button in step 1.
• To undo any accidental setting changes, you can restore the camera's default
settings (= 79).
