    BEFORE GRIllING • Place the base on a heat-resistant countertop in a well ventilated area. • Place the drip pan on the bottom of the base. • Add water to the drip pan, fully covering the bottom of pan. • Place the electric grill plate on top of the base and make sure the drip pan and grill plate are sitting properly on the base.
