    A. RINGER SWITCH Your TE LEPHONE uses a mechanical bell which provides a clear and pleasant ring . ON for a normal ring O F F for shutting off the bell B. RECEIVING A CALL When the telephone rings, pick up the handset as you would with any other telephone.
  • Page 7 B. DIALING, USING A MEMORY NUM BER 1. Lift the handset to obtain a dial tone. 2. To dial out the stored number 123 - 4567 which 1s tn memory location number 1, press MEMORY b utton and then the button.

    7. USE OF THE PAUSE KEY Pressing the pause key once will provide about a 4 seconds delay in the dialing sequence, pressing twice or more if 4 seconds are not enough. The pause key can be entered into the dialing sequence at any point a pause is desired.
  • Page 10 E. Mount the unit to the wall phone plate so that the studs on the plate insert into the slots on the underside of the unit. The unit will be seated securely by the upper and lower studs hooking respectively into the upper and lower slots. F.
