Hi, my boss BOL6 motor has power but not opening door. Even on manual mode I **** not able to lift up the garage door. I have tried to reset it with no success. Any ideas why the door is stuck even on manual mode?

The Boss BOL6 motor may not be opening the garage door even in manual mode due to several possible reasons:

1. Garage Door Locks Engaged – If existing garage door locks are not disengaged, they may prevent the door from opening.
2. Improper Installation or Reinforcement – Fiberglass, aluminum, and steel doors need proper reinforcement to avoid damage and ensure smooth operation.
3. Photo Eye System Misalignment – If the Photo Eye System is not properly installed, the door may not function correctly.
4. Electrical Issues – If the power cord is not connected to a properly grounded outlet or has been altered, the motor may not function.
5. System Malfunction – If the opener system is not operating properly, it should not be used until checked.
6. Emergency Pull-Cord Not Used Properly – If the emergency pull-cord (B-11) is not engaged or functioning correctly, the manual mode may not work.

Check these factors and ensure the system is correctly installed and functioning. If the issue persists, further troubleshooting or professional assistance may be needed.
