Just puchased a simple 2 hand watch for about 1800 US . Got home and it was not working . Took it back to the store in HCMC Dist 1 next to the Sheriton Hotel. They checked it gave it back and said the battery was ok. Got home and ten min later stopped working again. Tried to change the time and could not even pull out the crown one position to change time. Does not matter, it does not work. Is that a common thing?

Gucci standard watches, especially those with automatic movement, draw energy from wrist movements. If not worn for a long time or if there is limited wrist activity, the watch may stop and require manual winding. Quartz models, on the other hand, rely on a battery and should not stop working shortly after purchase unless there is a defect or battery issue.
